JBP receives Canadian Agriculture mission

JBP was selected by the Ontario Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs (OMAFRA) to host a trade mission led by Agriculture Minister The Honourable Ernie Hardeman on 21-25 October 2019. The week’s programme included B2B meetings with major food companies and retailers in Osaka and Tokyo as well as tours of a supermarket, department store and mass merchandiser’s outlet. JBP worked closely with the Canadian embassy to arrange meetings and visits, and to plan and execute logistics for the mission.

Our Unique Approach

The years over, JBP has built collaborative relationships with regional banks across Japan who identify and approach potential sellers and buyers within their customer database. They also contribute their own resource to help JBP execute deals.

JBP source cross-border deals from overseas partners who are prominent financial services, M&A advisory or law firms. JBP also shares a list of acquisition target search requests it receives from Japanese clients for the overseas partners to search appropriate targets in their countries.
