JBP hosts virtual trade mission of German photonics companies

JBP, along with its Berlin-based partner AHP, was engaged by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) to host a virtual trade mission of German photonics companies and research organization from 28 June to 19, 2020. The 3-week program included virtual visits to Japanese phonotics companies and research institutions, a webinar and remote B2B meetings. JBP successfully arranged 34 B2B meetings for 9 participating companies and organization and received highly positive feedback from both sides.

Our Unique Approach

The years over, JBP has built collaborative relationships with regional banks across Japan who identify and approach potential sellers and buyers within their customer database. They also contribute their own resource to help JBP execute deals.

JBP source cross-border deals from overseas partners who are prominent financial services, M&A advisory or law firms. JBP also shares a list of acquisition target search requests it receives from Japanese clients for the overseas partners to search appropriate targets in their countries.
